RED CARD WINS AWARD

We are pleased to announce that Red Card's latest production 'Detaining Mr K' was   not only selected for the 24:7 festival in Manchester 09 but it also gained an award. Following a successful run, the play was chosen by Equity as one of three top plays to receive the Vicky Allen award. The play then went on to a three week run in Edinburgh where it received some great reviews.

The play is now available for tour. See below for play details.

A man awaits his fate in a white cell. He has been there for 27 days and cannot bear any more encounters with the 'Boys'. When can he go home?
Auntie Pauline sorts things out with tea and biscuits and a sympathetic ear. She’s here to tidy up. To sort it all out. Terrorist, dear? Nonsense. Have another gypsy cream.

You can trust what she says but can you trust her?

James Douglas’ new play is a cat and mouse tale of intrigue and suspense where no evidence at all is all the evidence that is needed.

SHORT FILM

Detaining Mr K is soon to be made into a short film. Currently in pre-production, it will be shot this January (2012). Watch this space for details. The show is still available for tour. Please email us for more information.
